As stated in the Standard Top-200 Overall Rankings, this is not a mock draft, nor are theses rankings based on 2014 stats. This is a list of guys I like. Maybe I have a crush on them, and to be honest, I wouldn’t mind going on a date with them. Because what’s this life for if people aren’t buying you dinner? Trust me, it’s worth nothing. And yes, there will be things you like about the things I like. There will be things you dislike about the things I like. And there will me saying ‘things’ too much. In retrospect, the word ‘like’ shows up a bit too much as well. And there will déjà vu from the Standard Top-200 lede, because of the modern wonder known as copy and paste, but hey, you can’t win them all. But you can win some. And you might lose some. No clue where I’m going at this point. ALL THE DIGRESSION. So yeah…

Note: The tiers are broken up every 12 spots just for visual purposes, as the majority of standard leagues have 12 teams. Consider the tier breaks to be basically the round changing in a draft.

Do you agree with the following ranking of potential keeper groups? 2 keepers half point PPR.

    1) Bell and ODB
    2) Lacey and Brown
    3) Bell and Green
    4) Lacey and ODB
    5) Lacey and Green
    6) Bell and Cobb

@Mike: Yeah, in a keeper league, little to argue with here. Though, I might put Bell and Cobb above Lacy.

    Good Morning Jay.

Are you going to be a doing a top 200 for .5 PPR this year?

If not, would you use your standard 200 and move up pass catchers slightly or use these PPR rankings and slightly downgrade pass catchers?

@IV: Yes, or something near it will be released tomorrow.

Todd Gurley seems ranked a little low in standard and regular…is it because you expect him to miss time or be be brought along slowly? If he were another year removed from the ACL would have him higher than Gordon in standard? I plan on grabbing one of them early in my keeper leagues.

@Big League Choo: You got it, for both those. I do want to see how camp plays out in the coming weeks, what the reports are. If we are seeing a very healthy guy getting lots of reps, that could move him up.

Im pretty high on mr Melvin Gordon as well… Would you consider your ranking biased (matthews 2.0??)

    • Jay

@Bryce Krispie Treats: Yeah, it’s something I wanted to be really conscious about… but the situation is good, the talent is there, and the RB position is thin. The Mathews pick was a huge gamble, and it didn’t pay off. This one feels a bit more stable.

You’re not worried that he is being pictured as a two down back with Woodhead coming in for 3rd down [email protected]Jay:

Not really. The Charges offense is based on constant run production. Even as a two down back, he’ll get enough volume.

  5. Rice says:

There is speculation that Bell may have his suspension reduced to 1 or 2 games. Will that affect his above ranking?

I’m choosing between Bell and AP in a 0.5 ppr league as my lone keeper.

      @Rice: Official… Suspension reduced to 2 games.

@Rice: Interesting, the rankings will be updated in August, but I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if I’ll upgrade him or not. He moves ahead of Forte in my opinion, still not sure about one overall.

Who knew Bell had more pull then Brady!

Yeah, I find the rulings a bit interesting, but I’m not surprised. If we’re looking for any kind of normal standard that the NFL bases it’s decision’s and penalties on, you’d be hard pressed to find any.

Dang. I guess you are squarely in the Return of AP to Domination Camp? I keep wobbling back & forth as to whether I should keep him or Hilton in my ppr keeper league to go w/A-Rod, Bell, Megatron, & Julio due to the layoff & age but I guess I’ll roll w/him.

Your thoughts on the CJ Anderson ranking? Presence of Gary Kubiak? Reducing Peyton’s workload? Watching Montee Ball play?

      All three.
