And thus, we now close down the rankings portion of the preseason. (But don’t worried, the rankings will be updated every week until the beginning of the season.) It’s been a long and enduring process, but one that didn’t involve any Ryan Mathews drama, so I proclaim this a resounding success. Unfortunately, the format in which we’re used to consuming these rankings as pretty little embeded tables from FantasyPros isn’t available to us, as they don’t provide the tools to publish our Half-PPR Rankings to any site. We also don’t have the Back to the Future hoverboards, so I’m willing to overlook this technological oversight. But just as long as we are consuming, can we at least try to make an edible version of these rankings? With bacon? Bacon rankings bro, think about it… Anyhow, it’s a shame we don’t get the pretty presentation here, as I prefer the Half-PPR format the most. I just feel the format balances the best of two worlds, much like your mom’s shirt. Wow. That was next level right there. Let’s just wrap this up and go to the rankings…

    What’s your favorite scoring settings?

    My home league’s always been 6pts per passing TD, non PPR. By the way I do think that 6pts per Passing TD is a good response to all the fantasy writers that give PPR advice and then say “you have to go LRQB” (Late Round Quarterback). Which I probably agree is the way to go for 4pts per passing TD, PPR.

    This year I’m switching up my home league to include a QB/RB/WR/TE slot and dialing down the passing TDs to the standard 4 points so that 2 good QB performances by a team won’t necessarily decide the matchup. I’m really looking forward to caring about more than 12-15 QBs in the draft. Plus our league is 10-team which I think is the perfect size if you are going to go 2QB or Jumbo Flex.

      @RotoLance: I actually just like the half-point PPR, everything else pretty standard. I would actually love to see some new stuff come out for DST and K, to add a fresh take on it, but otherwise, I’m a simple man.

      I do like what you’re changing it to though.

    You are vastly underrating Foster…. oh.

      @Jeff P: The injury concerns limited his appeal for me, but I didn’t really see this coming. Unfortunate.

    I know it’s really early, and aside from the countless other head-scratchers in this list, what possible reason(s) do you have (right now) for ranking Lacy in a half-point PPR 11th? 11th?!?! He had more catches and yards, on fewer targets, than Charles. Out performed Lynch, too. But, nah, let’s rank a budding superstar bell-cow RB, on the best offense in the league, 11th overall….And I’m a life-long Bears fan who would take him over Forte in a heartbeat under this, or any other, format.

    Just be glad FantasyPros cant publish these rankings anywhere….that’d be embarrassing

      @Jax: That’s fine, these rankings are not static, and will be updated throughout the preseason. We finished 29th out of 160 sites last season on FantasyPros with our rankings, beating out all the big affiliates (CBS, ESPN, Yahoo, Fox) for what it’s worth. I’m glad that FantasyPros publishes our rankings.

        @Jay: Haters gonna hate

        2 weeks from now, Jax will post to ask you to review his team.
