Welcome to the second part of receiver rankings, where we here at Razzball put the PP in PPR. Wait, what? As stated in the standard receiver rankings, I find this position the hardest, though your mom never complains. ICE BURN. Just the sheer volume of names combined with the fact that your standard roster size requires at least three to four of them, well, you now know what’s going on in my general vicinity. And if you’re that close, WATCH OUT, for you will like love the cut of this jib. Because I guess it’s 40’s throwback vernacular Tuesday. Puts on fedora, winks, begins to swing dance. So let’s go ahead and begin the great quest to put our PP in PPR (there’s gotta be a better way to say that) and get to the rankings… (wearing pants is optional, but frowned upon in this establishment.)

Would you rather have a tier one with a tier three combo or two guys from tier two?

@Da Cleaver: It’s an interesting question, I think this season it doesn’t matter as much. I actually love the depth this year, and I think if you miss out on a tier one guy, your RB pick will more than make up that value.

1st and 3rd. Easily. Esp if you can get Brown, who is the Eldergods favorite PPR child and blessed with unrealistic consistancy.

Then again, I think Calvin and Alshon are both ranked to high. I’d rather have Green or Cobb than either of those two.

@Jensen: Yeah, like I said above, I think it can go either way. There’s no wrong decision here, but there is a great amount of positional depth this season.

My league I have alshon on contract. I have a bunch to spend in the auction. I’m trying to plan who to get. Having 3 WR in top 15 for PPR should make for an automatic contender.

@Da Cleaver: Yeah, in PPR leagues, you can and should play fast and loose with WR’s.

In a PPR keeper league would you trade Dez for Lacy?

    • Da Cleaver says:
      (link)

@DiRo: depends on what the rest of your team looks like. How do you look at WR and RB?

      • DiRo says:
        (link)

@Da Cleaver: no RBs worth keeping, other 2 keepers would be AJ Green and Edlemen.

        • Da Cleaver says:

@DiRo: I say keep dez. There are lots of RB available. Few at Lacys level. But in PPR, having three workhorse WR is great. Plus you can target RB right at the start of the draft and load up.

@DiRo: I’d normally side on Lacy, but with the keeper function, I’d stick with Dez in PPR.

@Jay: Thanks Jay and Cleaver, I convinced the guy to trade Lacy for AJ Green, so that worked out perfectly.

@DiRo: Oh man, I really like that trade for you.

            @Jay:
Jay you have Dez and AJ ranked right next to each other, how can you be against trading Dez for Lacy but really like trading AJ for Lacy?

            • Jay

@rookraider: I like Dez more in a keeper format.
