We have 11 meaningful football games left until the beautiful game leaves us until September. Let’s put these fruits in the juicer and squeeze every last drop out. Have you ever played in a playoff fantasy league? They are the bee’s knees (if bees had knees, they’d agree). Wait, do bees have knees? I need to google this.

”Hey Google, do bees have knees?”

”Piss off, wanker.”

If you are unfamiliar with the playoff-long format, the best course of action is to put your eggs in the baskets of players that you think will be playing multiple games. These points are cumulative throughout the playoffs, there are no more head to head matchups.

Anyways, there are a couple of ways that you can approach playing fantasy football during the playoffs. There is the method that I just mentioned and there is also DFS. My positional rankings for Wild Card Week will be at the bottom, but let’s go through the positional rankings for playoff drafts position by position before we get to that.

  1. Mike says:

Are you guys going to do a top to bottom draft list (not positional) for the playoffs? Would be very helpful. Thanks!

    • MB

      MB says:

No, but I can help you with any player debates you might have

  2. Ralphy says:

Thanks for posting this! I am really struggling with my third WR pick, TE and flex. I don’t think the Texans win so one game of Hopkins feels terrible to me. For the flex spot I am debating between Mostert or a second TE.

You like Kelce over Kittle and Andrews huh?

    • MB

      MB says:

I think the Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl. Him and Kittle were 1A and 1B for me.

      I’d be all over Mostert.

I agree, I don’t think the Texans advance

  3. Ralphy says:

So Mostert over a second TE in the flex spot?

Can you help me understand the Hopkins ranking? Wouldnt you rather chase one of the WRs that you think can play in three games over player you think will play one one game?

    • MB

      MB says:

Well technically they are favored, so there’s at least a decent chance he gets 2 games. I think that there’s a strong possibility that the Packers are 1 and done. So no thanks to Davante Adams. There’s nobody really strong enough to that I’d take over Hopkins while Hopkins is in a 50/50 game in round 1

  4. Ralphy says:

Thanks MB. So in a playoff challenge you would go:

    QB: Lamar Jackson
    QB: Mahomes
    RB: Kamara
    RB: Ingram
    WR: Thomas
    WR: Hill
    WR: Hopkins
    TE: Kelce
    Flex: Mostert

You would go with both AFC QB’s instead of the NFC QB you think will be in the SB?

    • MB

      MB says:

If that team is attainable, yes.

      SB pick: Chiefs-Saints

      • Ralphy says:

Well our format you get to choose any player. Is that your team if you can choose any player?
