Darik Buchar of the National Fantasy Football Championships (and NFBC, the whole NFC/Sportshub domain) joins B_Don and Donkey Teeth to talk about the RazzBowl and the other offerings  that the NFFC have to offer. The guys talk about their favorites including the Silver Bullet Tournaments and BB10s before jumping into some RazzBowl format and strategy discussion.

After we tell you about all the mistakes we made in last year’s inaugural RazzBowl, DT and I ask Darik about his favorite team, the Vikings. We ask him about Adam Thielen’s expanded role, his expectations for the hyped rookie Justin Jefferson, and how the TE split may work with both Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith Jr. on the roster.

B_Don and Donkey Teeth are joined by Al_FF_Red, formerly known as Boof, to go over Donkey’s dynasty rankings. DT walks us through his ranking process and we ask him about the general construction of his top 20.

We dig into his Joe Mixon ranking/hatred as both B_Don and Boof are all in on Mixy. We then ask DT about his top 20 ranking of Julio Jones and if he still belongs in that range at this point in his career. B_Don then asks Boof and DT to explain the Deebo Samuel infatuation.

As the guys wrap up, we look at some late ranked players in Alshon, Kyle Rudolph, Jalen Hurts, Nick Foles, and Darren Fells (who B_Don only brings up to plug Kahale Warring).

Quarantine Day 32:

This virus is really throwing a wrench in our economy as well as our professional sports enjoyment. Have you seen the latest proposal for the 2020 Major League Baseball season? I’m not talking about that whole Arizona/Florida restructured league proposal with the 30-team playoff. The latest idea on the table is one where Elon Musk and Richard Branson fly all the baseball teams to the moon where they’ll play the entire season without gravity. Even Tim Tebow with be launching dingers into orbit.  This is especially exciting because if all goes well, rumor has it the NFL season will be played on Mars. In anticipation, Bill O’Brien just traded Deshaun Watson for a cardboard cutout of Buzz Lightyear. Anyway, I went over my top 15 dynasty tight ends last week, here’s my top 30 tight ends for 2020 PPR dynasty football:

Few people know why the Packers are called “Cheeseheads.” It’s tradition: the worst Packer performer from the previous week is bestowed with a chunk of stinky Limburger cheese which is stuffed into the bottom of their helmet for the following game. In week 9, Aaron Jones took 8 carries for 30 yards and hauled in 1 catch for -1 yards. Needless to say, he was Mr. Limburger for their week 10 game against Carolina and their dairy boy tracked down an extra stinky piece of cheese for this contest. This wedge of stank carried such a putrid scent that the Panthers defense gave the Packer running back a little extra space to roam on Sunday afternoon. Aaron Jones took full advantage, rumbling for 93 yards and 3 touchdowns on 13 carries—he now has an impressive 14 touchdowns on the season. Rest of Season Player Rater has him listed as RB#10 and I’d even bump him a couple spots higher. Anyway, here’s what else I saw during yesterday’s late games in fantasy football:

As we march towards Week 14 and the start of the fantasy playoffs, this week will be a crucial one for many owners. With 6 NFL teams on bye, there are a bunch of stars that we need to find replacements for. We’ll be giving some extra attention to some players that wouldn’t normally ever sniff our starting lineups.

Let’s get to the rest of this week’s matchups, and talk about some players we should start, and those we should keep on our bench.

Before Game Of Thrones, HBO had a terrible-but-awesome show about some bros in Hollywood. It was called Entourage. I guess it was called Entourage because the friends formed an entourage. High brow stuff! This show was exactly what 19-21 year-old me needed every Sunday. Would I again binge watch the show that got me into serialized television even with a lot better television coming out almost weekly? Hell yeah I would.

Anyways, if you haven’t seen Entourage, Johnny Drama is the less famous brother of Vincent Chase, but before Vince got famous, Drama starred in a terrible cult classic show called Viking Quest. The way Minnesota played last night is probably comparable to Viking Quest if it were an actual show.
