Don't be shellfish...Tweet about this on TwitterShare on FacebookShare on Google+Share on Reddit

Two straight weeks, two straight references to kid’s games and in particular the same one.  Of course, my idea of Roshambo is this and apparently it’s spelled differently.  Next week, I’ll vary it up and reference this all-time kids classic.  Ok, enough links.  That’s the lazy man’s way to humor.  Or better put, my only way to humor.  Prepare for boredom!  It was an odd ranking week for me.  I don’t feel I’m at odds with too many other ‘perts so I’m doing my best to highlight a few where I chose to get wit dis and they chose to get wit dat.  First up, Knowshon Moreno.  He’s about as hit and miss as they come and I’ve basically called him a low end RB1 the last two weeks.  Was right one, wrong the other.  If this is a Fibonacci sequence, he’s gonna finish the year with better stats than AP.  Eh, yeah, it’s not a Fibonacci sequence then.  In other differences, I’m seeing Gordon putting up a top 10 week at WR.  I know, I know, it’s TNF but Cleveland has played too well at home for me not to get behind them at this point.  Speaking of the Browns, they’re my #1 defense this week.  Again because of how they play at home but moreso, because of TNF.  Yes, I just contradicted myself within the span of just three sentences.  Though this be madness yet there is…wait, no.  There’s just madness.  I also think this is the week the Chiefs storied start hits a bump in the road as apparently I really like the Titans at home a lot more than others.  Olsen and Cook?  Love the matchups and my rankings reflect that love.  Oh and I’m sure someone will say ‘WOAH!  Kenny Stills?’ out there.  It’s a hunch on a deep league weekly play.  I ranked Miles Austin and Darren McFadden like the two are playing.  If they’re not, I’ll adjust accordingly but they both have good setups for the week which means their backups (T. Williams and R. Jennings) will wiggle up the ranks if they’re declared out.  Oh and David Wilson.  If this putrid season is gonna get started for him, it happens this week.  He’s only my RB18 in standard but I have huge hopes for him given the matchup.  And don’t ask why the Eagles defense isn’t ranked.  If their first 4 games don’t give you a hint why, I don’t know if me explaining it would help any more.  But enough of that.  Let’s get this shin-dig shinning.  Here’s the weekly ranks for week 5 of the 2013 Fantasy Football season…

Early Thursday AM note: I didn’t save after the Daryl Richardson news yesterday.  It happens.  I’ve fixed it and this should reflect shortly.  Also have removed CJ Spiller.  Sounds like he won’t play this week.

    Send D. Bowe

    Receive L. Miller

14 team standard. I feel like it is time to move on from Bowe before his stock drops.

      Good deal or hold?

@Percy Whipped: I’d do that deal even if Bowe was good.

How do you feel about handcuffing backs? I own McCoy & bbrown. Keep 5 lge. I want to pick up Stacy or hillman and sometimes feel handcuffs are waste of roster space. Do u feel bbrown is one of the few worthy cuffs? Or do u feel cuffs handcuff your teams overall talent/ depth?

If DMC is out where do you rank Jennings? I am looking at Spiller if he goes or Jennings…ugh

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@One Man Crusade: I’m hearing Spiller will be inactive tonight. Could be wrong but that’s the vibe. Jennings, low end RB2. Just don’t think he’s good enough and he won’t get as much dump off passes from Pryor as he did from Flynn but the lanes will be wider.

@Comatose: Save button fail yesterday. I’ve modified. Hopefully it shows up shortly. Don’t mess with that backfield unless you’re in really deep leagues. I put them all in the high30′s/low 40′s.

Colston or Gio B for flex this week? Thanks!

    Ridley, deangelo Williams, knowshon

    Thanks!

      @KCC26: D-Will for sure…Ridley

@KCC26: I have the least faith in Knowshon to stay healthy/keep his job so it’s him for me.

  8. Allan says:

In our espn standard league bradford is projected at 21 points to kaepernick’s 11. Due to that and their respective matchups this week i’m strongly considering starting bradford. What do you think?

    • willy says:
      (link)

@Allan: Sky has Kaep ranked higher than Bradford if you look at the above rankings… Pretty sure Sky would say Kaep based on that…

    • btd says:
      (link)

@Allan: Bradford’s upside is limited by the inept Jags offense. I have a feeling St.L will play with they new toys in the backfield to give them some reps once they’re up by 10+ in the 2Q.

I’d go with Kaep at home vs. Houston. Houston will put up some points, SF will need to keep at it to control/be in the game. It should be a fun one to watch. Two solid offenses vs two solid defenses.

      • Allen says:
        (link)

@btd: I have same dilemma as well…I am going Bradford. Listen, Kaep’s schedule after this week is gravy and then we roll him out every week but for last week and this week I am staying away. Bradford has a ton of upside this week. Jags corners are prone to the big play. Tavon Austin & Chris Givens anyone??????? In regards to above post, I wouldnt say STL has “toys” to play with in the backfield…who knows if any of those guys will be effective. I dont see the texans/49ers being a very high scoring game.

    • CramYourCatcherQuestionUpYourCramhole says:
      (link)

@Allan: See rankings above. I don’t think citing ESPN’s projections are going to change his rankings. But they’re close enough that you should go with your gut.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@Allan:Not that the Jags have any form of pass rush, but the Rams o-line is worthless and Bradford/offensive coordinator haven’t figured out how to work with that. Can’t fully trust him even in plum matchups right now for me.

      • Allan says:
        (link)

@Sky: Thanks for all the input everybody.

        • goodfold2 says:
          (link)

@Allan: i’m guessing this is why luck is above bradford, even though Luck’s playing the scary SEA secondary.

If Spiller or FJax goes, you still like CJohnson over both, right? I’m a hopin and a prayin.

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@Wilsonian: Numbers against Cleveland running, especially at home, haven’t been too good. I’m going with the ‘CJ is not playing this week’ rumor and have modified my rankings. FJax 22 in standard for me as of this morning.

      • Wilsonian says:
        (link)

@Sky: 0.5 PPR, bonuses at 100 and 150 yards rushing, 85 yards and 135 yards receiving. Still angry Twitter man CJ?

  10. Oppo Taco says:

I know you had roddy in your buy column yesterday but would you move him and Brandon Meyers for Cobb? My other tight end is cook. .5 pp thanks also what’s your take on the St. Louis backfield? Cunningham is on waivers, pead and Stacy have been scooped up

    • btd says:
      (link)

@Oppo Taco: Cobb threw a gem last night! Sorry, wrong board… Either way, yes.

St.L backfield: Depends on who you’re dropping. Pead and Stacy will probably get their shot first.

  11. Scott Steelers says:
    (link)

My RB situation is just horrible… start 2
    MJD vs Rams
    Woodhead vs oak
    Jennings vs chargers
    Boldin vs beng
    Ridley vs beng
Haha. Have morris on a bye but wow this is disgusting. Also I’m excited Zac Stacy may be getting a shot this wknd. I was hoping he was gonna start at the beg of year. Would you drop Bolden for him?

    • Scott Steelers says:
      (link)

@Scott Steelers: also how can everyone keep saying this is a must start week for MJD vs a bad st louis D? He was a must start last week cause indys D and history vs them. 27 yards? And this week they traded away an offensive lineman? Even with my god awful RBs Id rather rolo the dice than get under 3 points consistently

      • Sky

        Sky says:
        (link)

@Scott Steelers: I’d hold your breath until the active/inactive reports come out. Daryl Richardson isn’t starting, it doesn’t mean Stacy will be activated and playing.

I guess he’s a must start in 12 team standard because of bye weeks? I have him as a low end RB2 because there’s no one else to put there. Don’t know what the thinking is on must start. Jags have zero going for them right now.

  12. de nachos says:

Does Rayray Rice’s hip worry you? His owner is shopping, or would you rather have Sproles ROS in PPR? Also, congrats on finishing ahead of me in Razzball The Big Whateversski league. You had no idea you were in a death match against me (Heady Votter) yet you sill prevailed. Kudos.

A post late, but enjoy Breaking Bad. Season two-three really gets into the s$%t.

    • btd says:
      (link)

@de nachos: Ray’s hip doesn’t bother me. He probably could have played the week he missed. That said, he had 6 touches last week. And has been all the chatter on Baltimore airwaves this week. He’ll get more touches going forward.

My question is how much Eugene Monroe impacts the Ravens O-line?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@de nachos: Ha! Yeezus, what a bad team. Had every underperformer on the year in there (Ike Davis, Espinosa, Moustakas, Prince Fielder). What a jacked up year, nothing went right.

John Harbaugh worries me. He tries to mess with a good thing too much. That said, I’ll take Ray Ray for Sproles.

      • Zandy says:
        (link)

@Sky: assume in a std league you’d like that deal even more?

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

          @Zandy: Definitely.

  13. Frank White says:
    (link)

Morning Sky… I took your advise and dropped my bench QB, I just hope now Hoyer doesn’y explode and Eli gets taken out. Lol, Anyway I picked up Zac Stacy cause I read good things on his notes and I have Daryl too. Do you like that pickup or go for a receiver or something?

    • CramYourCatcherQuestionUpYourCramhole says:
      (link)

@Frank White: Go for guys you’re going to use or could be useful. Are you using Stacy this week? His potential is way more of an asset than “a receiver or something”. Would you start any waiver wire “receiver or something” you’d pick up?

      • Frank White says:
        (link)

The guys on my bench i’m trying to build up into guys that are good enough to question starting them week to week. I’m asking is Stacy a pickup that might bloom to a starter? if not then he shouldn’t be on my bench. I have Chris Givens, Ellington, Robert Woods, Pierre Thomas, and Daryl R. so far half of them aren’t starters yet but I hope they will be.

        • Frank White says:
          (link)

Also if you can tell me someone on my bench that’s not worth anything please tell me. I’m hoping I find a guy that has the best chance of blooming into someone that can take the place of MJD or Bowe. That’s why I’m holding onto my number 1 waiver. That waiver I swear is a curse at the same time cause I can never grab anyone waiver time!! Lol

          • Frank White says:
            (link)

I just need advise on what you would do if it were your team cause you guys are very smart about this!!!

            • Sky

              Sky says:
              (link)

@Frank White: Who to drop is based directly on who you’d add. No one can tell you a guy is worthless without knowing what there is to pick up. Telling us your guys on your bench and saying ‘who should I drop’ isn’t an effective question.

            • CramYourCatcherQuestionUpYourCramhole says:
              (link)

@Frank White: You’re initial questions are just always so vague Frank! You ask “should I pick this guy up?” Well, it depends on a lot of things!

Personally, I’d rather carry an RB with potential than a second bench receiver, and I’m off the Givens wagon for now, so I’d drop Givens for Stacy.

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

@Frank White: Cram just answered this question really well with what he said. There’s really not much to answer this question with other than what he said.

      • Frank White says:
        (link)

Never that he did me good in baseball!!! I understand its just I got all tthose Guys including givens that I have to keep right now cause I have nobody to grab for him off FA.. I dropped Hoyer for Stacy. Idk what to do but keep who I have unless you think Simpson it’s better then givens? I only ask opinions on guys that you might think that they have a chance of taking over my starters one day if my starters start failing like they are. I just hope Stacy has a killer week and shows them who the man it’s in that backfield. That’s why I ask if that’s ludicrous cause then I wouldn’t waste a bench spot for him..

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

We covered Simpson and my opinion of what to do with him yesterday.

It goes back to defining ‘wasting a roster spot’. Anyone you’re not starting is ‘wasting a roster spot’ by definition but it doesn’t say anything about the value of the player, their caliber or their possible expanded role in an offense. I could tell you to dump your entire bench but that doesn’t help you. Like you said, ‘you have nobody to grab on FA’. Wondering if you should drop someone isn’t the question. Wondering who is worth adding is.

        • Cram It says:
          (link)

@Frank White: Hey now! I give good advice, if I give it. I may replace the advice with an intentionally sarcastic jab (which you probably got in baseball instead), but I would never purposefully give bad advice or advise on something over my head.

          • Frank White says:
            (link)

Hey!!! Cram your part of the solution of my championship so I never take your advise sarcastic our anything. Your a ball buster but hey I dig myown grave with some of my questions. Lol.. I hear you sky, that’s why I throw names out there cause you might say to me hey grab him i can’t believe he’s still available. maybe I shouldn’t play the process of elimination withyou.. thankyou both either way!! Sky that’s what I was saying I only ask if they’re worthy of keeping for the future and I know your not a mind reader just want to know if you if would add the players I mention on your squad personally cause that would really tell me something About theplayer I might want

            • Sky

              Sky says:
              (link)

It’s good on my end. Just think of your question like this. If I told you ‘I have this bar on W. 15th I go to…would you recommend any other bars in my area?’ and I was referring to where I live…you don’t know what bars are here to choose from, just the bar I listed. And because you don’t live here, you’re not familiar enough to answer that question to begin with. So asking me ‘should I drop this guy’ without a correlative add, I have no reference point to answer that question unless the player has been dropped like De’Rel Scott. Weekly ‘how’s my roster look, anyone I should drop?’ questions aren’t contextual enough to get a worthwhile answer from.

              • Frank White says:
                (link)

He hasn’t played much on the NFL level yet so he’s hard to assess. No visuals to go off of. I thought he was going to be th Goal line back and short yardage guy and maybe more to start the year, though. So at the very least I think he has that possibly going for him.

  18. Zandy says:
    (link)

Am I crazy to think that Benny C is going to have the starting job in Stl?

Def not Richardson based on tweet, second tweet seemed like fisher yelled at him
    Pead already in fishers doghouse
Benny got a few looks and caught a 2pt conversion and Stacy saw no time
So it’s Benny vs potentially Stacy, right?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

@Zandy: Not crazy but this is a feel out game. What they’ll probably come to the conclusion of is Daryl Richardson isn’t good between the tackles (duh, STL) and use him in 3rd down/runs to the outside. Then Benny vs Zac for the inside touches. On that note, probably Benny has a larger role than he has now but I wouldn’t call anyone in STL a starter any time soon without an injury or trade or clear game that defines it.

  19. Zandy says:

        (link)

        @Sky: I agree…whole poopetly.

However, I am starting MJD over Snelling in my RCL PPR league. Though you have him ranked worse than Snelling by one spot. The Jets are the Jets, but their run defense has been stout this year. As much as I hate to do it, I’m going to stick with MJD for one more week.

I have a few trades out there for top RB’s for D.Thomas. But no one seems to be checking the trade offers yet this week. Evidently they have lives…WTF!

@Clint (aka Pablo Death): The numbers from the last two weeks say it all. Wilson has played fine, NYG has not so he’s been out of the game plan by halftime. Why should we ‘fully trust’ MJD at this point? he’s been terrible. All Wilson did was fumble in the first game of the year and get put in Coughlin’s doghouse.

Hi, I’m in a 12-team Std league and having trouble juggling some promising players. Reggie Bush is locked in as my RB1, and then I have to pick between T. Rich, G. Bernard, J. You need to give me the source that tells you anything Rams related that is actually a reliable source. That backfield is a guessing game right now. Why would the guy who sat for disciplinary reasons last week get placed as the primary back this week? Not seeing it.

      • the imp says:
        (link)

@Sky: Agree with Sky about the reliability of the news out of STL. No DRich is a tweet from the player himself. Stacy in is Rotoworld’s gut feeling. Pead in is CBS’ feel based on an obscure answer Fisher gave in an interview. Cunningham was the actually 2nd RB last week. Unless Fisher says something clearer, there is no reason to expect clarity until Sunday. It is hands off for a shallow leaguer like myself despite the plum matchup.

Two questions for you, and thanks in advance!

Would you trade Rivers and Martin for Peyton and Chris Johnson? If you were the team with Manning, and your best RB besides Johnson was Moreno (in a Keeper), would you make that trade?

(Okay, so I guess three questions…) Would you start McGahee or Rashad Jennings, not knowing whether Jennings will even start Sunday late night, and McGahee is playing tonight?

    Thanks again!

    • Sky

Qbs vick rg3 roethlisberger hoyer for this week only maybe
Wrs marshall colston shorts amendola ( nice one sky — i blame u because it would be too easy to blame me )
    Rb charles lynch d rich
    Te cook finley

I have two trade offers out
Roeth for roddy white kid has romo and geno as qbs figure its worth a shot in a two qb league
I think he might be waiting till after the bye to make the trade it has been sitting there since last week

Roeth and finley for chris johnson kids has heath and myers at TE and brady and palmer for qbs
I kinda need rb depth for my bye weeks so was looking ahead with this one and CJs schedule aint looking bad

The question is should i gamble with hoyer as my third qb i will only have to use him one more time if vick and rg3 stay healthy that if has its own economy or hold roethlisberger and drop hoyer for an upside RB like ellington or stacy — also should i just add finley to the white deal to try to push it he has VD

And greg olsen is on waivers should i just scrap all these plans and drop finley for olsen and pray that he-man can gather the power of greyskull for my team — i suppose i could wait and see if either of these guys blinks and takes the trade and then snatch olsen up

How does Blount’s rank change if Ridley is out? I know you guys like Bolden better but Blount looked like the better player to me against the Falcons. Also Rotoworld reported today some blurb about it could be Stacy’s time in STL. Could he be a darkhorse pick up against the Jags? I wouldn’t play him in that match up but would picking him up now and dropping say and injurred Ahmad Bradshaw be wise? Also when is it time to start stashing Percy Harvin?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Bolden played hurt and was the guy to get the GL carry. Missed a TD by inches. The numbers say Blount played better. Visually, he’s Brandon Jacobs on a better offense.

I say nab every RB on the Rams you can and let them sit on your bench until clarity happens. I wouldn’t make any bets either way on who the starter is but Stacy has just a good of a shot as any of the other guys.

Need a WR3 for a 1-3 team, standard scoring with 5 pt bonus at 100 yds. Lot of fliers with decent matchups:

    Stills @ Chi
    Randle v Phi
    Pettis v Jax
    T. Williams v Den
    K. Allen @ Oak

That list is in order of your rankings. My questions are, 1) who’s on top if I’m just going for highest floor (a solid 5+ pts)? 2) highest ceiling? 3) which 2 do you like ROS?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Floor is Pettis if Miles Austin is starting, Williams if he’s not (and Williams moves up to where Miles is). Highest floor is Stills. Bears have given up a lot of big plays through the air so far and Stills has been a good big play guy so far. ROS, Allen showed me a lot last week. Like him to emerge late or soon and Randle because the upside is still there.

Wouldn’t blame him for those running woes. That o-line has done no one no favors and D-Rich is closer to Danny Woodhead than he is to a middle runner type. THey’re not using him effectively so part of this goes on Schottenheimer as well. All this to say, Bolden is the better pick up in my book unless he’s hurt.

Who should I cut for Brandon Jacobs to handcuff Wilson?

    Blount, Franklin, Ogbonnaya, Ivory, Tate

I have a RB problem. My main starters are Powell, Wilson, McFadden (when healthy). In 1ppr format and luckily can start as little as 2 RB’s and as much as 3 with the flex position.

My best optimal lineup is 5wr and 2rb depending on matchups and byes.

I’ve loaded up on backups on my bench on the off chance an injury will net me a starting RB but obviously need to handcuff Wilson.

My RBs right now: AP, C. Johnson, Joique Bell, B. Pierce
    My WRs: L-Fitz, J. Gordon, M. Wallace, E. Royal, R. Broyles

    Start 3 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 W/R/T.

Conventional wisdom says Broyles is the more obvious drop but somehow I think that last game was kinda fluky and he still has quite a few receptions coming to him yet… plus, with 3 starting, there’s a premium on WR in our league. (Example best current FAs: Cotchery, Jeffrey, Hankerson, Moss, K. Wright… in other words, bleh…), meanwhile there’s guys like Ellington, Snelling, Pead, and M. Ball out there at RB….

    What say you? Thanks, mang!

Broyles. The Lions just signed Kevin Ogletree. I don’t trust him becoming relevant any time soon.

Ha, I know it’s just for depth but with Bush there as a slot receiver in disguise, the recovery process seemingly slower than expected and that depth signing, it’s just hard to buy in.

Start two this week and drop two this week?
    Snelling vs Jets
    Chris Obgoyana vs Buf
    Bryce Brown vs nyg
    Ivory vs Atl
    Pead vs Jax

Tough calls….Only have Martin as my other starter so whoever I keep is a potential multi week starter.

Asked this yesterday on your other post. I have to start two which you said obgo and snelling, but I also have to drop two bc we have a four rb roster limit by the sunday games. Who should I drop?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

Ehhh, don’t really like either as high ceiling plays this week. I’ll say SJ because we know they try to keep him involved.

      • Pete says:
        (link)

@Sky: Thanks. Yeah, I don’t like either this week but I’m hamstrung due to injuries/performance issues with Steven Jackson and Ahmad Bradshaw. My team depth took a big hit. My only other option this week for the final flex starting spot would be Vincent Brown, but since he’s ranked lower than Stevie in your rankings, I didn’t include him in the question.

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

@Pete: Yeah, SJ is a low upside play. At those points in rankings, you have to figure out whether or not your team needs a high upside flier.

Hi Cram! Thanks as I see the rankings, but this is more applied as a Flex question.

Eddie and Wilson will be most likely to 2 RB started this week. But for the flex, who should I put in?

        D-Rich, Cecil, or Blackmon.

        Thanks!

      • Pete says:
        (link)

@Sky: Other WR’s are Calvin Johnson and Julio Jones. Need to start 3. I have Foster, Murray, Chris Johnson and Lamar Miller as RB’s. Trying to strengthen my 3rd WR (which I would consider to be Johnson and Decker) while still leaving solid flex options.

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

If you have Megatron and Julio, you’re killing your RB depth and it’s not worth it. Gordon as your WR3 is better than most team’s WR2, let alone their 1. Just hold.

Standard scoring, dynasty league. I’ve got McGahee, Bolden, Bryce Brown, and Pead. I’m starting one in my flex (McGahee I guess), but I’m going to have to drop a player to make room for a kicker this week.

I’m looking at a team who has Gates, Julius Thomas and Jermichael Finley, and is a little light on RBs.

    1) Would you trade McGahee, V. Brown, and one of the other RBs (Brown?) for Gates and Blackmon? Gates could go in my flex in place of McGahee.
    2) Is Blackmon even an improvement over Vincent Brown, or should I ask to do the deal without including the WR swap?
    3) Would you do the deal if it meant getting Finley back instead?
    4) If I can’t work out a deal, which RB do I drop for a kicker?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

      1) Sure, prefer it be Pead, though.

      2) He could be, hard to say Vincent Brown is going to be a primary target of Rivers this year or necessarily next for that matter.

      3) I don’t like Finley

      4) Pead

Most weeks I’m starting T.Smith and not Lacy (potentially or D.Martin/SJax). My RB are McCoy/TRich (Lacy/DRich/McGahee) and WRs are Fitz/Cobb/T.Smith (Givens/Blackmon/Woods/Harvin(IR)).

Let’s go Browns (From a Seattle Seahawks Fan)!!!

      • Zandy says:
        (link)

@Scott: can I ask for your thesis on McGahee this week? Buffalo D soft against the run, McGahee getting more acclamated to the offense, motivated to play well at home, rainy conditions should hurt the pass game…?

wait, just realized your first part. what do you mean ‘rank off of the experts’? I don’t look at their rankings until after I’m done. Scouts honor. My genius and stupidity all hang upon my shoulders.

      • the imp says:
        (link)

@Sky: Totally. I know you don’t look at the experts. You can tell by how far you deviate from them. You are definitely not a part of the group think.
The line meant I hate that you are willing to go off of the expert consensus since I’m the opposite and like the false security of the standard deviations and all that crap. Since you are generous in justifying your takes, there is a lot of value in your deviations.
In the case of dropping Sudfield for Olsen (which I accept as my own choice) I should have been a clone, but otherwise the individualism of your rankings is a healthy reminder to me that I can go with my gut from time to time.
        Cheers.

          (link)

@the imp: LOL…switch that of course. Dropped Olsen for Sudfield…wishful thinking since I’m still struggling at TE. Poor guy lost his job today.

Hey Sky, can you rank the Rams backfield? I know it’s hard to figure out but I own Richardson and he’s been awful, so I think he’s going to be out. I have Rich and an open roster spot so I’m thinking of dumping Rich for Stacy, and also picking up Pead. What you think? Goin forward who do you think takes over, Stacy or Pead?. Thanks brother

    • Anthony says:
      (link)

oh, and it’s a PPR league. Thanks

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

Rams coordinators don’t know what they’re doing with the players they have. If it plays out the way I’m thinking, Stacy gets the first chance, D-Rich stays involved in passing situations, Cunningham is the 3rd stringer and Pead is still in Fisher’s doghouse. ROS, it depends how much the Rams want to win. Pead should be involved but I think they’re more inclined to fine-tune him long-term. It’s between Stacy and D-Rich for me with Stacy built more like a workhorse RB and should get the lion’s share of carries.

  105. Scott says:

So after tonights game, should a McGahee + Hopkins for Roddy be in order? I have the RB depth in Doug, Ray, and Giovani in my 14 nonppr league. Demaryius and Garcon is my other WR with Cameron as my TE. Do it?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

If you can get Roddy for that price? Go for it.

  106. JohnRamboJr says:

Was offered A. Bolden and J. Jones for my S. Jackson and A. Jefferey late last night. I’m not too strong at RB, but I’m tempted.

My RB. T. Richardson, K. Moreno, I. Pead, J. Snelling, J. Franklin and Jackson.
WR. Welker, D. Jackson, Edelman, C. Givens, A. Brown and Jeffery

Should I accept or counter w/ a RB of his?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

I’d want the SJax side in your situation.

1/2 PPR League. Would you trade Doug Martin for Reggie Bush & David Wilson? I’m leary that Martin will break out next week and Reggie with his injury history. Should I pull the trigger or hold?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

PPR league, this trade makes a lot of sense. You’re getting two shots at a top end back and Bush is already playing like one. It’s a risk but I’d take it, personally.

      • Bill says:
        (link)

@Sky: ok i’m pulling the trigger, but if this doesn’t work out you owe me a cold molson eh.

        • Bill says:
          (link)

@Bill: Now have Foster, Bush, CJ2K, Wilson, Bell, Miller & Tate and can play 4 every week. Like me team more or less?

    Sky,

I have levon bell – thinking about trading him for david Wilson. seems like david Wilson can only go up? I am in a PPR league

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

That’s a risky play. I like him more than Bell so I could see making that move but only if I had the depth to do it with

      • Blake says:
        (link)

        @Sky:

        I have the following

        J Charles
        Steven Jackson (Hurt)

        W Mcgahee
        Levon Bell
        Rashad Jennings

with only 2 RB slots and no flex

        • Sky

          Sky says:
          (link)

He’s worth the risk but still really is one (McGahee is your RB2 right now if David Wilson doesn’t begin to play well).

  111. Kzing says:

I need 8-11 pts from my flex spot- PPR league….

    D.Moore or Olsen??

I have D.Thomas, A. Johnson, and Julius starting

    Thanks!

      Sky says:

      Olsen

  112. Blake says:

    PPR league

I can do 2 WR and 2 RB and I flex

    RB Forte
    RB J Rogers

    WR Colston
    WR Hartline

    Flex P Thomas

I have D amendola and Ronnie Hillman

    Should I insert either?

    • Sky

      Sky says:
      (link)

I’d put Amendola in over Thomas

  113. Steven says:

    Thanks

    • Sky

      I’d go Pryor there now…damn…

  114. Drexel Hill Dragons says:

Joique Bell or Zac Stacy as a flex today?

Also, does Megatron being out help or hurt Akers at GB?
    Akers or Novak?

    Thanks!

  115. Megan says:
    (link)

Hey Sky! Thinking about dropping Royal for Amendola now that he’s supposed to be back. I’m in a standard 10 team league. I’m already starting Boldin and Welker as my WRs and I have Hopkins as my other bench WR. Is this move a good idea?

    • Sky

      Sky says:

Hi Megan! Definitely the move to do there. Go for it.
