It's NFL Scouting Combine week! In celebration I'll be wearing the same clothes all week (no pants) while eating only pizza, ice cream and tequila. I'll also be dropping my top 40 dynasty running backs for 2020 fantasy football which includes this year's rookie running back class. Of course, these draft prospect running backs are currently unemployed which makes their valuations a bit more challenging and unpredictable. But even without homes it's fun to think about where to value these youngsters relative to the more experienced backs. All of our fantasy football rankings including positional and overall NFL draft prospect rankings, dynasty rankings and eventually redraft rankings can be found on our 2020 Fantasy Football Rankings page as they're released. Anyway, here's my top 20 dynasty running backs for 2020 PPR fantasy football:

I’m trying something a little bit different this week. I’ve given some quick hit stats and blurbs from my normal sources instead of finding the top 3-4 and elaborating on what I believe it means for the week and how we can take advantage of it. Let me know in the comment section if you like this style better, worse, or would even prefer a hybrid. The positives about this style is your going to get a higher volume of nuggets that influence players/teams and it is far easier to consume. The negative is they aren’t particularly as in depth, and you may have to draw your own conclusions on how to use it. Anyway, I write so you can consume so let me know what you think!
Each week I will preview a couple of games that are ripe with fantasy juice for us to squeeze. Highlighting which players have a path to eat, DFS plays, and studs that should be faded.
Bonus content - The 50/50 Club: Seeking streaming options, managing through roster injuries, filling bye weeks, or looking for bargain DFS plays? This year I will select, what I've coined as, the 50/50 club. A weekly fantasy roster (QB, RB/RB, WR/WR, TE, DST) comprised of players that have ownership numbers less than 50% across major fantasy platforms. The following week we'll review how we performed. At the end of the year, we will see how we stack up cumulatively at each position. Can we field a top 12 QB or TE, or top 24 RB/WR over the course of the season?

It is officially week 1 of the NFL season after a busy weekend by NFL teams trying to get their rosters just right for the regular season. This week we will begin our regular season schedule at Razzball as well. Please, blog, may I have some more?

We made it to the end of our divisional fantasy previews. Just in time, as the heart of fantasy re-draft season starts and preseason games begin. Keep in mind, our valuation of players and teams change constantly as new information is received. Rudy is on top of his weekly projections, constantly updating them when things change. A couple of weeks ago we were drafting Hill in the 6-8th round, and now you can't get him cheaper than a 2nd round pick.

If you ask 100 fantasy analysts who they have as their #1 QB in fantasy, I'm sure 100/100 would tell you that it's Patrick Mahomes. However, if you then ask them who their #2 QB in fantasy is, and you'll get a variety of answers. Some will tell you it'll be Andrew Luck. Some have Deshaun Watson. Some are going back to the Aaron Rodgers well. However, I'm here to tell you that we should be strongly considering Baker Mayfield as the QB2 in fantasy football this season.

It is finally time to start rolling out my positional rankings over the next couple of weeks. We really started to kick things up at the beginning of June but nobody is really ready for drafts in June. June is foreplay. June for fantasy football is catching up with your favorite writers and you sit there and read as they babble on about players that they thought about during the Spring. You’re probably thinking, “that’s great and all but what NUMBER is this guy on your rankings sheet?” Oh so you don’t care about Pittsburgh’s offense, you just want to know when to draft J2S2.
As I said last week, the early rounds signal that many owners will prioritize the running back position this year in fantasy. Which means that I will be doing the opposite, and getting as many wide receivers as I can after getting my one stud RB in the first or second round. Please, blog, may I have some more?
