For my RB/WR spot would you rather start Ray Rice or Terrell Owens.
Hello Doc,
If you had AP, R.Brown and J.Best on your squad who would you rather have?
– Toby Gerhart
– James Starks
– Tashard Choice
– Ryan Torain
(I’m a Bears fan in a league with 10 FudgePackers and a ViQueen so Starks would be a bonus if he actually has a chance of making waves over the next 4-5 weeks.)
OR maybe I should just drop Best also and pick up 2 of the available options?
wondering why cutler over cassel? Cassel has been on fire on lately and put up huge #s a few weeks ago vs the Broncs
@Doc: PPR league flex help…d. bess vs cle, choice @ ind, ricky vs cle, s. moss @ nyg or crabtree @ gb?
thanks.
need a little help this week doc so here goes
12 team ppr starting QB WR WR RB RB TE W/R/T W/R/T K DEF
QBs rivers orton — prolly rivers
WRs wayne white lloyd welker gaffney mason — prolly go with wayne welker white maybe lloyd
RBs rice goodson felix ronnie brown hightower choice — rice goodson maybe felix or brown
TEs gronkowski celek boss — boss
so for that last spot who do u go with felix brown lloyd
do u sit welker vs nyj or rice vs pit?
for TE who would u go with?
tough week 13 decisions
thank u for your answers always much appreciated
Blount or Naanee at the flex?
1 PPR league, who would you start at flex
Maurice Morris
Blount
Keiland Williams
Beanie Wells
or would you drop one of them or Zach Miller to pick up and start Naanee
Doc, Do you recommend picking up either Cassel or Freeman over Schaub and Ben for a start this week (non-ppr.) They all seem yawnstipating!
Doc: I thought Cassell would be a great play this week over Eli what’s up? Start Eli?
Team 1
1 Flex spot: Blount, Westbrook or Hart (if he goes)
Team 2
RB: Which 1 do you bench: Mendenhall, Bradshaw, McFadden, Green-Ellis
WR3: Randy Moss, Woodhead, Danario Alexander.
Thank you!
PPR League, Start 2- JC Superstar, Forte, McCoy.
Thank you!
Pick 2 for weeks 15 and 16: Zach Miller (Den, @Ind), Brent Celek (@NYG, Min), Rob Gronkowski (GB, @Buf) Thanks!
BTW, PPR.
@Doc: Who would you rather pick-up for this week/rest of season – Hart or Choice?
OK, really confused this week and could really use some advice.
10 team no PPR
RB: Hillis, Rice, McFadden, Tomlinson…need to pick two
WR: Austin, TO, Knox, OchoCinco, Manningham, Obomanu…need three
(I can’t pay you, but for your help…on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness. So you’ll have that going for you.)
Blount, Owens, or Holmes at Flex?
Joel Dreessen or Kellen Winslow?
What’s with all the TE questions? Why don’t you fellas ask for Kicker help while you’re at it?!
Seeing as how he’s unranked, I assume you’re not high on Brian Hartline? Should I pick up Obomanu to start over Hartline in a PPR league?
@Doc
Should I stick with Leggy Blount this week vs ATL, or bring in the next best option available Chris Ivory (man, that hurts to type that).
Also,
Cutler or Cassell?
Thanks.
Torn between Mendenhall, Rice, and Ahmad Bradshaw.
Bradshaw has the most favorable matchup (IMO) despite a potential 50/50 workload split with Jacobs.
Mendenhall might see more work if Ben is gimpy, but the Ravens are scary.
And Rice is a versatile enough threat to keep the Steelers D guessing, even though they are scary, too.
I wanna lead towards Bradshaw as a high risk/high reward play, unless you think it’s more sensible to play Rice or Mendy.
hey doc, which 2 WRs would you play in PPR this week?
m thomas
m floyd
ward
s rice
Doc, need 1 of these WR3’s in a .5PPR
Burleson – B.White – D.Alexander
thinking about picking up Mike Hart. drop VJax, Keiland Williams, Zach Miller or Pierre Thomas (none are starting for me right now)? or drop none of ’em?
Hey Doc,
PPR, 6 point TD, No points for return yards/tds
Desean Jackson or Calvin Johnson for this week??
Where does Kenny Britt land in the rankings if he plays this weekend?
@Yahoo Serious: I’d drop Best for Choice and Gerhart
@timmy riggins: Cassel got most of his yards via garbage time last game against Denver. I think they’ll keep it closer with the run this time.
@herschel: Not loving my choices here! I would say Choice if I knew for sure he would get 10-15 looks, but I don’t. I’m going with Moss even though I don’t like the matchup much.
@barker: Rivers. I’d replace Welker with Lloyd. Felix for Flex. Boss for TE
@Child Please: I’d drop Miller for Naanee and play him over Williams.
@Slew: No sure bets there. I don;t like Ben at all this week. I’m looking for Schaub to get some garbage time points. The Eagles should be able to score easily.
@nadaidea: I like Eli at home against the Skins and am thinking the Chiefs will run more this week. But it’s a close call.
@Gavin: probably Blount since Westy is gimpy. I’d bench Green-Ellis and go with Moss, gulp.
@Harley: Choice, but if you need someone to start for sure I’d lean Hart.
@John H: Hillis/Rice — Tough call here, but I trust the Ravens offense more than Oakland right now. Manningham/Knox/TO. I already have total unconsciousness.
@Nate: I like Obo ahead of him, but Hartline does need to be added. Oversight.
@El Famous Burrito: I’d lean Ivory unless PT is back. ATL’s run D has been very tough. I am really on the fence between Cutler/Cassel, but am leaning Cutler.
@mapwheel: Bradshaw would be the homerun play. I would probably play Mendy as the safer pick though.
Doc, based on your response to Stumanji in the last post, would you be hesitant to play Nicks next week if he’s back and starting?
Several Questions: Ryan or Kitna? San Diego DEF or Eagles DEF? Now for the doozie. I’m starting Jennings and Colston at WR and need to start two of Bradshaw, Goodson, Westbrook (just picked up Dixon for insurance), Greene and Blount. Leaning Bradshaw and Goodson. That leaves me with needing a flex from Harvin, Sidney Rice, Kenny Britt, mayhaps?, Mike Williams if he plays? and the leftover RBs. At least I own Akers. For what it’s worth, Akers outscored everyone on my whole team except for Goodson. *Sad Emoticon*
Reading what you have said re: Roddy White and his struggles against TB, would you play any of the following in his place:
Buc Williams, Boldin, Ford, Bess, Hartline, Blair White Project, James Jones, Naanee, MSW, Obomanu, Floyd, Hawk Williams?
It’s 0.5 ppr.
Doc – 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 Flex. Who would you choose among:
RBs – Arian Foster (@PHI), Brandon Jacobs (WAS), Felix Jones (@IND), Christopher Ivory (@CIN), Jonathan Stewart (@SEA), Ricky Williams (CLE)
WRs – Reggie Wayne (DAL), Danny Amendola (@ARI), Michael Crabtree (@GB), Derek Hagan (WAS), Lance Moore (@CIN)
it’s a 0.5 ppr league. i was leaning towards foster, jacobs, jones, and brown. as for WRs, wayne and crabtree. sound like a good plan?
doc, you’ve never steered me wrong before. At least I don’t think so, but my memory sucks. Anywho, Fred Jackson or Johnny Knox in a PPR league? Cheers.
Doc, if AP doesn’t play is Gerhart an easy play over Ronnie B?
Also, 0.5ppr, who do I play in the flex:
Blount, Westy (in right now), Hines, Austin, Blair?
Hey Doc,
IDP
Would you rather go with Tuck or Peppers?
@ Doc: .5 ppr league, I clinched the playoffs already, I’m playing for a bye this week. My RB’s are: McFadden, Best, Blount, Goodson and Gerhart. My WR’s are: Megatron, Mike Williams (TB), Holmes, Mike Williams (Sea) and Denario Alexander. We start 2 RB’s and 3 WR’s.
I’m leaning towards not using Welker this week, and I got offered Addai for him. I think Addai should be back next week and I need the help at RB. Do you think it’s worth making the move? Will Addai be startable?
@Doc: Hey DoC, should I still roll with Westbrook at RB2 and Blair White at Flex (also have R Wayne & Tamme) or slide in R Brown/Greene/Blount/Hines Ward ???
Hey Doc,
I’m in a real tight spot. I just lost Frank Gore and he got sniped off of waivers by someone with a higher claim. My RBs are Best, Lynch, Felix Jones, Choice, and Caddy. I don’t want to play Caddy or Best really. Lynch is not reliable at all either. I am considering starting Felix and Choice and just trying to get every yard out of Dallas’ backfield. Not the most aggressive play but I don’t know that I have a better one. Who do you think I should start?
@Demetrius: i’m leaning to the Nicks groups. Would probably go with Britt since he has started practicing.
@Harley: Not crazy. I’m just leaning Cutler. You should go with your gut.
Doc,
Now on to QB #4 for the season. Romo, Stafford, Hill and ??
Looks like i’m choosing between Fitz and Kitna.
Who would you play at Flex(ppr)
LT, Welker or M. Wallace
@Doc: How good is Anthony Dixon? Westy will get hurt and it will be up to him. I saw him run once in the Monday night game near the goal line and he appeared to move slowly in a lateral fashion vs. turning it up and getting six. Sample size of one I know, but others are talking him up a bit… thoughts?
In a PPR league, should I drop Keiland Williams? You never really know what’s going on in the ‘Skins backfield, but he’s a good runner and pass catcher. Plus, I know as soon as I drop him he’s suddenly Shannahan’s feature back.
My options for a replacement are new Shannahan favorite James Davis, Christopher Ivory, Tashard Choice, Anthony Dixon, Ladell Betts, Maurice Morris and Bernard Scott.
Is it time to drop Big Ben now? I’m kind of worried about his foot, and he’s only my backup to Rivers. Any of these gentlemen a better Rivers backup:
Fitz, Garrard, Freeman, Kitna, Romo (if and when he’s healthy), Palmer, Bradford, Henne?
Doc who should I use for my flex this week?
James Jones, Blount, Naannee, Mason? Thanks
I just realized I didn’t type that Westbrook got sniped, not Gore. I know this changes nothing but it’s gonna drive me nuts if I don’t correct it. OCD issues over. Carry on razzball.
You da man, Doc! You’re like my brain not on drugs!
Doc…you are definitely DA man….Thanks for the help!
@Doc: Curses, that should have been Ricky Williams. I gotta stop getting those two confused. In that case, replacing Brown with Williams in that optimal lineup of those listed, I’ll go with JStew, thanks.
Hey Doc;
For my flex, Choice or Woodhead?
Im not looking for the homerun here, just the consistent touches. I would like 6+ points, in espn standard. Who is the better choice (no pun intended)?
Also Doc, I have Freeman and Eli to start, im leaning towards Eli…Thinkg this is the better of the two?
@Howie: I don’t love him, but it does look like he’ll be the guy at the goal line and will probably out last Westy healthwise. As long as Singletary is run first he should have value.
Touchdown heavy league. I need to start 2.
Ray Rice, Lagarette Blount, Tashard Choice, Mike Hart, Pierre Thomas……NEED HELP.
Doctor,
I am having a hard time deciding on RB’s to start this weekend. (PPR)
Pick 2
LT, Tolbert, JStewart(could pick up Goodson too), Brandon Jackson, Best??? Help please
Trade away Orton/Ray Rice/McGahee and get Palmer/A.P./Gerhart? I’m already in the playoffs, so this week doesn’t really factor in. Starting QB is Vick, other RBs are FJax, Wells and Best. How much do you think A.P.’s ankle will affect him during wks 14-16? Thanks for the help!
@KMMinBend: Tough. I wouldn’t want Palmer on my team and I worry a little about Vick getting injured, but AP is an upgrade over Rice. In PPR I wouldn’t do it, but in non-ppr I would.
For my RB/WR spot would you rather start Ray Rice or Terrell Owens.

@stumanji: He’d be pretty low. I’m not having much luck throwing guys off of injuries into the mix.
@HotRod: I like DJax a lot
Doc, based on your response to Stumanji in the last post, would you be hesitant to play Nicks next week if he’s back and starting?

@Nuke LaDouche: I’d go with Lynch.
@Nick: Tough call. I’d see what Westbrook’s status is first.
@Harley: I could see doing that, but Addai’s injury is to his nerves and it’s just hard to know when he’ll play.
@buge hoobs: I suck at IDP. Anyone have a thought?
@Wilsonian: I’d probably lean Austin with Westy a little gimped up
@DSimms: Yeah
@dedalus: I like Knox this week, but it’s a close one
@Wilsonian: Probably not those guys. Buc Williams is close, but Roddy is still Roddy
@Joel: It is a different injury. Depends on how well he practices.
@Anonymous: Kitna. I’d probably go with harvin if he practices tomorrow, but I don’t love the options.
@Starlin Castrated: I’d go with JStew over Brown. Is that Ronnie Brown? You don’t have him listed.
@Doc: true, didn’t think I could physically bench Roddy. Hopefully he doesn’t let me down.
Need one of the following to start: J. Shipley, S. Smith (CAR), S. Smith (NYG), B. White, L. Evans
Hi Doc,
I’m in the playoffs, so this is a mix of win it all for me. Standard league which group do you like?
a.)Roddy White, Welker, Harvin, Rice?
b.)Roddy White, Welker, Harvin, Nicks?
c.)Roddy White, Harvin, Nicks, Rice?
d.)Roddy White, Harvin, Nicks, Britt?
@Doc: Am I crazy to start Kitna over Cutler? I can totally see Cutler come screeching back to earth and Kitna putting up points in a shootout…
@Shanks: White
@Demetrius: i’m leaning to the Nicks groups. Would probably go with Britt since he has started practicing.
